Our TrainingEngagementworks delivers community engagement advice and tools that make a real difference – immediately.
Our commitment is doing what is needed to build solutions for our clients’ engagement needs. Our training programmes are tailored to meet actual needs. That’s because we believe that people require more than generic, one-size-fits-all courses. In most cases they’re looking for learning and guidance to address real challenges. We believe that there should be more value than just gaining a course completion certificate. Our programmes are modular. This means we can assemble worthwhile training that meets time and budget limits. We can also deliver these programmes at a venue that works best for you – this can provide good value by removing travel and accommodation costs for participants. We’re happy to discuss your needs on a no-commitment basis and identify options that work best for you. Do you want better relationships, more trust, quality sustainable decisions and better outcomes from your consultation and engagement activities? Come and talk to us, we will show you how! |
Our Short CoursesEngagementworks has a range of short courses that can be customised or joined together to meet specific needs. There is overlap between some of these courses to provide context for those who may be doing these as single courses, rather than as a series or as part of Engagementworks’ Practitioner Series of workshops.
Because these courses are shaped to meet specific needs, we can deliver them at a venue of your choosing. Our Practitioner Workshop SeriesOur series of workshops introduces participants to the world of community engagement and gives hands-on skills and coaching to help build and implement a community engagement strategy.
Our Governance WorkshopThis one-day workshop is designed for corporate directors, elected councillors and senior managers who need to have oversight of their organisation’s community engagement activities.
Based on the material contained in the Practitioner Series of workshops, the focus of this workshop is on governance principles, rather than on the detail of engagement delivery. |
